Faith, reason, madness. what is what?
Introduction
This shall be one of the most offensive topics in which I will deliberate upon in this blog. It is only offensive in the context of a culture which has placed the self as God, and self-love as the ultimate virtue upon which life should be centered around, thus creating brashness, and the disdain for others, as well as validating Paul's perfect description of modern sociology in 2 Timothy 3:1-9. It is also, going to be the biggest grief the individual Christian in American society must go through, as those whom fight collective norms, and the collective unconscious (which is the subconscious mental renderings of all that which is all around you on a daily basis, hopefully filtered out by responsible and value oriented boundaries, which allow one to perceive the Kingdom on earth and are imputed by Jesus Himself, and His Spirit. This essay will treat the issue of needing to "die to oneself," as Christ has commanded us all to do, in faith in Him, who was and is to come. Thus, a short, non-self-centered polemic shall ascribe these notions, to present the truth of that which needs to come of the individual, in that, they must first destroy the self, or at least let God destroy it (much more wiser to let Him do it, as human destruction is almost never Holy and usually arises from fear, jealousy, or a combination of the two - paranoia), whereas God will do it out of love, which will help consummate the individual to Himself in Christ, and lead one into citizenship, and active work in the Kingdom of God. What is the Self? The natural, post-Adam self-justifying self, is more than the collective renderings of the subconscious phenomena, and the active integration and synthesis of personal thoughts opinion, beliefs, and cognitive activity of the individual, as a concrete process and synthesis, as well as the parasympathetic and sympathetics synthetic balancing (hopefully), and the integration of the individual human bodies "form," being internalized by the eyes into the Occipital Lobe of the brain. This creates the "self," however this self, in itself, has no transcendent capabilities, whatsoever by itself. Thus, the need for a new self, becomes apparent, as not even Kant could come up with a polemic which allowed a "new self," to be formed, let alone, transcend the immediate bounds of the cosmos, itself. This self, if is what the ego is bound to, and serves alone, makes a mind of extreme sterility, and usually has a low capacity to internalize information from the outside world. The Dead Self, God’s House When the old self, as described in the last paragraph, is per sey, dead, as opposed to simply forgotten, repressed, or ego-defense mechanized, and it was God who killed it, as a paradoxical act of faith (another one of those weird Christian paradoxes, where do they keep cropping up from – maybe divine revelation, where Godly Knowledge kisses pure knowledge at the human level, and a divine knowledge set is made known, and integrated into ones tacit knowledge base) in Jesus Christ of Nazareth, as opposed to any false Christ out there (and there are plenty), then one is able to cease to be a demon tomb, or the religious equivalent, a Pharisee, who does not die to themselves on the manner prescribed here, but rather projects an outward appearance of false kindness, pulled together into a mask of deceit, and false Machiavellianism, which is able to be discerned with ease by the trained spiritual discerner, who can confound even the most wise of the worldly wise, by the simple act of spiritual discernment, and one is able to become a house for the being of Christ, so that they are able to be of Christ, and thus put on the new “Godly Self,” and truly be sicit deus, which is to say, like God. When the old self is dead, one is then officially “dead to themselves, as was a command of Christ to do so, for us Christians, then the nervous system does not integrate from a self-contained, and infinitely disorganizing set of phenomena, constrained to the being in question alone, but rather stops integrating, from within, and starts to integrate, from without, and from especially the Holy Spirit, and the Word of the Lord. This causes a massive short of all false cognitions, false affect, ungodliness, and allows for the being, to be a staunch and wondrous “being in Christ.” It allows for God’s being, as revealed in Christ, to be integrated from without, giving us His feeling, His love, His affect, His mind, and His Spirit. The parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems, get an existential upgrade, into the Kingdom, and the autonomic system becomes fulfilled, when it is usually always grasping for more empirical things to process, but instead,, now feels almost satisfied, even with a morsel of food, and one may now receive their daily bread, as a heavenly food, which is intuitively eaten, and sense by the spirit and affect which one has now ascertained by faith in Christ, and now has no old self, to feel confused about the phenomena. It, therefore, feels natural and concrete, and divine revelation at this point, feels natural sane, and almost like reading an internal-external daily newspaper, in which the Holy Spirit gives ne to read, and constantly updates throughout the day, like a good Facebook poster, whom never gets old to read. The fear of God, is that boundary, which keeps this new self-internalized, so that one does not feel tempted to go back to one’s old ways, by apostacying, which is an everyday battle of responsibilities for the Christina, at the normative, and highly spiritual levels alike. It is a lot to manage, and brings about severe grief, if one sins, and one feels loathsome towards such things, which is in of itself, almost an excellent defense mechanism God has ordained for such things, to be heftily managed properly and responsibly. IT may seem weird, or even insincere that God has commanded us through Christ, to die to ourselves in this manner, which is why I am constructing the next paragraph, as to delineate why exactly, the is an act of the utmost love. Is This Love? God Don’t Hurt Me, Don’t Make Me Die It is a painful process, to put on the new self, and requires an extreme level obedience to the Word of the Lord, however, one at this point, of such obedience and faith in Jesus, has realized, that “being in Adam,” means death and hell. Plus one has probably realized, that if they base their entire center of reality, off themselves alone, they infinitely deteriorate, and become a nuisance to the community, which brings about infinite guilt, shame, and low levels of organization, and increasingly poor object relations, and poor community values. The existentialists, and humanists, find their way around these, but find themselves at ends trying to battle depression, anxiety, dehumanization, and burnouts, God knows that, without Him as one’s life support, there is no way and no life, and especially without Christ, we are all doomed, hence dying to oneself, that secret and ultimate paradoxical formula for eternal life, in the Lamb who was slain. This is the secret of God’s love, revealed to those whom are faithful to Him, and thus made elect through divine ordination, by His Grace, on those whom are faithful to Him, and Jesus. Once one has gone through the channel of self-death, and absolute sanctification to God’s Word, and His Righteousness, then one realizes, how much of mercy that this whole business of being able to die to oneself truly is, and how much self-sacrifice it creates for the community, in order that it may be organized in God’s favor, and thus made Holy and pure, and extremely sufficient, fruitful, secure, and concrete in God’s Word alone. There are many benefits of the new self, which we shall explore in the next paragraph, but before I go there, I will say this one last thing on God killing our old self…. It prevents our souls from eternal damnation, and infinite self-starvation, and prevents satan from getting any real hold on us, and concreting us to the opposite of what a saint should be , which is, a man of death, a man which seeks to destroy all others for personal gain, an absolute rejection of the Cross, of life, and of all reality. The New Self, More Joyous Than An Elf The new self, is sleeker than any gadget you have ever received in your Christmas stocking, and more powerful than any car engine you will ever find in the cosmos, or even of heaven, if there were cars. It gets work done, at an extremely responsible and a fortiori rate, moving from strength to strength, from a lower means of His Righteousness, to a higher means of His Righteousness. It infinitely organizes itself, in itself, for it is God’s Self, and has all the infinite transcendental qualities, which God does, but at the human level, going from Kingdom a priori, to a posteriori, to a fortiori, to transcendent finite a posteriori, to transcendent infinite a fortiori. It experiences a joy, not fund in any other religious practice, or any other sociological sect of humanitarianism, philosophy, and even existentialism, and produces an unconditional being, which has no limits, in its purpose, and no escape from reality, and yet, consumes all reality, without damaging anything, but rather, re-creating it, in a Holy, truthful, finite, concrete, transcendent, and Kingdom manner. There is no shame felt in such a self, for there is no shame for those whom are in Christ, and no damnation whatsoever, but life, bliss, and eternal abode in the Kingdom of God. Introduction
It seems that at the brunt of modernity, there is need to differentiate the two "imagos fundmetnal," that is two say, the two fundamental "images," which dominate the Western spirituality to the dome. An "imago," is the theological term which is more or less the mental form or "image," kind of like an extremely clear and real archetype, which is constructed in reference to a real individual, person, entity, and such. As Bonhoeffer successfully describes in his Doctoral dissertation, titled "Act and Being," all being, is simply and concretely, "being-in-reference," to something. Thus, the ontological relation with time which Martin Heidegger formed a polemic of, in his "being in Time," was rendered fruitless, and caused one to idealize God, and see God as an abstract object, instead of Divine and Holy God, condescending upon an individual or community. Bonhoeffer described this condescension, as "God's being as coming." The act of spiritual-mental transcendence comes in faith in Jesus, not in time, but in eternal "faithful being-in-reference," to God, allowing for the Spirit to come through the doors of the individuals heart. allowing for spiritual essentia to be formed. I call the concrete spiritual essences, in their form of being particulars "cogeans," simply because grammatically conducing the concrete phenomena, to a cognitive abtraction, into syntax structure, helps me communicate this particular spiritual phenomena in a mathematical manner to all. After enough "cogeans," if you will, are imputed by the Spirit in the heart of an individual who is faithful, "being in reference to the triune God of the Bible," then their essence changes, and their being itself, becomes spiritualized, and thus they may now become "spiritual being-in-reference to the Triune God," completing a form of transcendance. When an image of this type is internalized or consistently apprehended, a form of teleological image or goal is internalized, as these images explicitly, in themself, contain a form of a teleological end goal. The image of Christ, has the Kingdom of God, as the end goal, containing it, and forming, all by a very God-to-human-to-God means. The "imago bestia," is a very anti-God image, and its end goal, is usually placing ones self above God, and is the Spirit of the Anti-Christ, transmutated into image form. This post will seek to explore this phenomena, and do a differentiated cross-comparison of these two images, and how the images differ in their behavior, in relation to humans, when they are internalized. There is thus a concrete teleology, of concrete existence in God's creation. This is why true Christians, have a calm sanity, as they can comprehend the image of Christ, and all of the subset forms, processes, logic's, and Words. The Image of Jesus Christ: Imago Christini Like all forms, these forms have color, and the Imagini Christi, has usually a pure and Holy mystic gold, white, and extremely light, spiritual blue. This form, if internalized, or rather successfully apprehended, and re-constructed in its pure form of "imago-genic essentia," allows for this calm peacefulness. One who internalizes this form, will have a calm sanity, the "Mind of Christ," and will be working towards the salvation of oneself and others, in the Corpus Christi. The Image of the Beast: Imago Bestia This form, has a reddish tinge to it, a smothered black, like degraded ash, and a mocking, almost pleasure ridden yellowish brown. It is a wicked form. It causes the individual who has internalized it, to be highly deceptive, to self-aggrandize, and follow a pleasure-oriented false religion, which is Platonic in nature, and ultimately blasphemous. The end goal is to set one-self up as this false God, in the place of the real God. It is the essence of the Western modern spirituality. It causes the inability to know truth, and one becomes like a beast, knowing only pleasure, power, and extremely basic and beast-like needs and necessities. It gives one a mind of a beast, as opposed to a mind of a human, and even further opposed to the "mind of Christ," which is by all means, and transcendent mind. Introduction Introduction Introduction
In this essay, I shall render the parameters of the Imagos, as not a mere idea, but a reality. I will do my best to keep this essay a bit less abstract, that there may be a more inclusive means of wisdom impartation. The Imagos: External Reality Everything you see, everything you touch, everything you smell, has a form of image. Although, things you would smell would have too small an image to observe with the naked eye, one, with a particle magnifier, would be able to apprehend the image of the particles, and their explicit form, and even the bonding of these forms or micro-endo-morphic images, with the nasal receptors responsible for converting particles smells, into actual smells. All things have image, whether spiritual, or empirical, or symbolic. The Imagos, without creating a reductionist argument, could be boiled down to The Heavens and The Cosmos, as the fundamental image and concrete essence of all that which is. In that, everything which is contained in those two fundamental domains, which is everything, is contained. Thus, if one has knowledge of such, one may describe anything, and any subset domain of such, whether spiritual, or sterile, or responsible, and dialectically poeticize upon such, which I shall in various blog posts titled "Imago-Genic Diaries," in order to poetically capture and render the more broad and metaphysical aspects of creation. It seems all too well, that it may be more simple than we have expected, that is, the explanation of dreams. As a Christian oneirology (the study of dreams), this phenomenology must take the claims of science, against the claims of Christianity, and thus assert itself, to make out the science to be a reduction, and explain why science can read such phenomena, in a reductionistic language, and also how to interpret the dreams. This blog post, to keep a steady distance away from occult phenomena, or non-Christian spiritual tainting, must thus conform itself, to the infinitude of the imago of Christ, out of a genuine heart of faith, or it will thus fail in its mission to deliver such a phenomena. This is What Dreams Are Made Of, Literally As conforming of the rules of the knowledge theory, in which I have theologically curated from scratch, and philosophically delineated the boundaries of in "The Hairston Knowledge Theory," I asserted that three main faculties create the mind from the "ground up," namely, syntax, forms, and logic. The three interact with each others, teleologically conducive to the being in question, more or less, based on their epistemic foundation, which, if Christian by faith, is Christ Himself, allowing the language of that being to be God's language, and the resulting processes and teleological developments, to take place from the ground up, in His form of Holiness. Thus, dreams, could be said, to be the hyper-integration of these logic and forms, based on the Godly Logos, allowing for the sentential logic, and archetypal forms to integrate in a fashion, technically in a manner, which is conforming to the image of Christ, but also precluding the actualization, and carrying out of God's Will. Thus, the individual who dreams a dream, in the light of Christ, will have "Christian dreams,"which may be consciously described by a Christian interpreter, who knows how to decode the explicit dream structure, in a language which is culturally conducive, to the individuals whom are listening to that individual. The descriptor in question, must have the Logos internalized, and know how to read it in the mind of others, and articulate the resulting forms and logic's, or the bonded results (normative mental noumena, as opposed to self-justifying and borderline Kantian occult phenomena), in a manner, which is linguistically capable of comprehension by those whom are listening to the individual interpret or describe such dreams. Now the non-theological, is dangerous, in that, the human logos is often deceptive, and creates disorganization and disunion very quickly, and is highly susceptible to demons altering such things arbitrarily, to create disunion in alignment with Satan's will, opposing Jehovah's. Thus, an individual, if interpreting dreams of others, whose minds are not epistemically rooted in Christ, must take extreme caution that they themselves are rooted in Christ by faith, and in the Godly Logos, lest they fall to misinterpretation, and run the risk of internalizing the subtle prose of satan and demons, which often affects the human logos. However, the individual, whom is firmly rooted in Christ, and interprets another individuals dreams, whom epistemic foundation is not the Godly Logos, but the sheepish and apostate human alternative (the often extremely prideful, human logos), will be able to interpret the dreams with pure accuracy. Dreams are capable of predicting the future, in normative mental noumenonic manners, or they can integrate aspects of the personality, and really can be a comprehensive formula, for integrating ones life (milk aids in good dreaming, and good dreaming, leads to an integrated, and well organized life). The Seeds Pre-Figure the Tree The epistemic foundation, or what the being in questions mind is rooted upon, will not only determine their entire life structure, and the structures of other individuals life, as goes along with being "social creatures," it also determines the general pattern or structure of the dreams, or the literal noumenonic language. If the being identifies itself, with something, most concurrently, then one may be able to say, that that is most likely its epistemological foundation, namely its identity (whether true or false is irrelevant here). Thus it could be said that the seeds which are the epistemic foundation, prefigures the trees, or, more or less, the entire structure of the mind and the concurrent general patterns and structures of the dreams. I, as being a self-righteous gentile predicates, assert that one must always be rooted in Christ. Thus, the wondrous and glory-ridden seed that is Christ, if the seed of the mind, may become a tree of the like in which few pagans of the Greek poet times of Homer, would absolutely fail to conceive of. They simply do not have the language of the Word. Science's Petty View of Dreams Science, in a nutshell, offers us a view of dreams, that is filtered through a social consensus, after it has undergone various and ambiguous scientific method processes, and came out with a possibly invalid result, on which everyone may agree or disagree upon. It is a blind mans chess game. There are many theories of dreams, one of which, the great psychological skeptic, Sigmund Freud asserted, "the sexual aspect of the being, is God," while basing his dream psychology on such, left barren the mind, devoid of anything good, but what is left, is the fable of Sigmund Freud, and not a very Holy one at that! The current consensus of cognitive psychology, would state, that it is mere integration (while denying any meta-physical constraints, which is creating a multi-fallacious argument, reductio ad absurdum, ad ignorantium, metaphysical fallacies, etc) of information of the mind,processing short-term memory data, into functional long-term memory, and furthermore, into instinctual behavioral schematics, which can be accessed at any time, and acted upon. I, personally, being meta-theologically and meta-philosophically a posteriori, would challenge this assertion, to be roughly 5 percent of the entirety of the function of dreams, as often than nought, science forgets about the Imagos, or even the cosmos, and reduces itself to a sheepish and unstable abstract nominalism, which is then only validated by "peers." That is unwise, in the eyes of a philosopher, and creates many pockets of ambiguity, and places where there is no truth, but a skeptical and vague possibility of it. The theological manner of tackling this issue, is far easier, as spiritual men comprehend phenomena as a whole, and convert their comprehension, directly into warranted syntax, which they may articulate or write down in little mole skin journals. The Joy of Good Science Often, while deriding science, one forgets, to give science its due credit. While I admit that science is paranoid field of thought, and creates cognitive deterioration in infinite regression, as well as disorganization at all levels of being, if idolized, it does however, have the ability to mete out nominal truth. This is not truth as a whole, but rather, as nominalism goes, one abstract archemedian point of truth. It is taking a circle, full of mysterious and wondrous colors, but only looking at the points in which one self-righteously and self-justifyingly would like to pen out for themselves, and denying the rest of the circle. All nominalism, is extremely selfish, and opposed to God in every way, and always will lead to self-aggrandizement. However, as social creatures, there is a consensus to uphold, to help warrant and validate such things. So, these archemedian points, must go through the rigorous social process of becoming warranted, in which many individuals, agree that these archemedian points, are being described correctly, as what they are, in the mode of thought, social process, and speech of science. The result, thereof, is in fact, nominal truth (hopefully, if science was being responsible, which it often is not). When translated into oneirology, this allows for a form of interpretation of dreams, in a strict adherence to this nominalised language of science, and in the intrinsic bounds of such, is able to describe certain concrete functions, but as I said earlier, only roughly 5%. That is how science is able to create redutionistic language of interpreting dreams, though would deny the Godly Logos, rendering it extremely susceptible to a form of intellectual nothingness, rising in the form of existential nihilism. This is a similar social process (it started with Nietzsche at the human level, but the dragon, or being of the heavily satanic sort with theological a posterior knowledge) which has created the modern void. That infinite nihilism, which self-aggrandizes, and sucks all God out of any possible scientific equation. Dreaming The Dream of Reading the Dream Earlier I gave a brief description of what needs to be present philosophically and theologically to interpret dreams truthfully (the Godly Logos must be internalized, and one must be able to read the minds of others, or hear a description of another individuals dreams - both are possible, though one requires a deep spiritual empathy, and the other a loving and listening ear), but this is a simple task for the follower of Christ, and thus I will leave it up to them to take responsibility for such, and to learn how to let the Godly Logos and the Spirit internalize the logos of others, in a manner which allows them to comprehend the dreams of others, and articulate the structures back to them and their comprehensive meaning, in a language conducive to the surrounding individuals whom are listening to the interpretation. |
